Our Services
It all begins with a service request. As soon as you call and schedule an appointment, a credentialed tester will be assigned to test your fleet & ensure compliance with the Clean Truck Check Program regulations. After that, leave it up to the Cal Testing Team to submit your results and ensure that your fleet is in compliance with the California Air & Resources Board regulations.
OBD Testing
Fleet Discounts Available
The current minimum operation threshold for a Clean Truck Check test submission is for the vehicle to have at least five (5) Warm-Up Cycles (WUCs) since “codes cleared”.
An OBD test submitted to the Clean Truck Check that does not meet this minimum operation threshold will get a Not Ready (not passing) test result and will not meet the emissions compliance testing requirements.
Opacity Testing
Fleet Discounts Available
Diesel non-OBD vehicles (2012 and older diesel engines) are required to complete a smoke opacity test and a visual inspection of the vehicle’s emissions control equipment, referred to in this program as the Vehicle Emissions Control Equipment Inspection. Alternative fuel non-OBD vehicles (2017 and older alternative fuel engines) are only required to complete the visual inspection and are not subject to the smoke opacity test requirement.
OVI Inspection
Fleet Discounts Available
When performing compliance tests on non-OBD vehicles, a credentialed tester must conduct a visual inspection using the Vehicle Emissions Control Equipment Form. For non-OBD vehicles (those with engines older than 2013 for diesel and 2017 for alternative fuel), a visual inspection of the vehicle's emissions control equipment is required. This visual inspection is conducted using the Vehicle Emissions Control Equipment Inspection Form.
